ForensicFramer v09.2008
(forensic video-evaluation)
INTRODUCTION
ForensicFramer is a tool for forensic video analysis. After a pre-defined interval a frame (screenshot) is written repetitively to a unique indentifiable directory. The officer in charge looks at these images in a thumbnail overview.
ForsensicFramer operates semi-automatic. Only certain settings prior to processing have to be adjusted and then all frames are extracted automatically.
In comparison to the original video-files the extracted images are just a fraction in size. Assuming an extracting-interval of 10 seconds per frame the resulting amount of data are less than 1.5%.
